August 17 (Saturday) – Jimmy Davis – one of our most popular acts. “Jimmy Davis is among the best Americana songwriters performing today. Period.” (Keith Sykes)
September 4 (Wednesday) – Missy Andersen – “One of the truly great voices of our time.” (PBS Australia). A truly astounding voice backed by the exceptional guitar of Heine Andersen. Blues, Soul and R&B
September 19 or 21 (Thursday or Saturday) – Dana Cooper returns to Cape. Great singer, great guitar player and exceptional songwriter. Dana was originally signed with Electra Records. One of Larry’s favorites.
October 25 (Friday) – Society of Broken Souls– is a multi-instrumental duo. The music might be described as folk noir. Playing “with an ease that involves both the showbiz polish of the Everly Brothers and the rustic charm of the Carter Clan.” (The Stranger, Seattle) This is a mesmerizing duo.
This Saturday, August 17, Jimmy Davis will be playing a house concert.
According to Keith Sykes, “Jimmy Davis is among the best Americana singer songwriters performing today. Period.” We couldn’t agree more. Jimmy has had a long and distinguished career that includes being on an MTV hit video, writing for and performing with some of the biggest names in the business, and FIVE TIME recipient of the “Premier Male Vocalist Award” by the Memphis Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences.
Jimmy6 is a high energy performer who establishes an immediate3 rapport with his audiences. We are pleased to have him back in the house.
Show runs from 7-9 pm. Bring your favorite beverage. A recommended donation of $8-$10, all of which goes to the artist, is typical. To reserve a seat all 573-270-1009 or email email@example.com.
